I'm fundraising to help improve the education for thousands of children
Bali, Indonesia is a tropical paradise known for its world-class resorts, serene beaches, crystal clear waters and a very welcoming Balinese community. Bali is regarded as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. However, many people are unaware of the limited resources and access to higher education that is available to the children of Bali. Therefore, I have taken on the challenge of running 50 miles across the island of Bali, Indonesia, to raise money for the Bali Children’s Foundation. While I have participated in several long-distance events, this journey will be the most meaningful and impactful experience of my life. The 50-mile run will not only represent the countless hours and miles I have put into preparing for this race. But, more importantly, the race represents the vital support and opportunities for the children in Bali to continue their education and pursue their dreams. 100 percent of the proceeds will directly help young aspiring children gain access to the resources they need to break the cycle of poverty and empower them to reach their full potential. Every child, regardless of their economic background or geographic location, should have the freedom to dream without limits and the opportunity to pursue their aspirations. Every young mind holds the potential to shape a brighter future. No circumstance should ever hinder a child’s ability to envision and achieve greatness.
$220 puts an elementary school child through a scholarship for one year.
$100 provides food support and essential vitamins for a malnourished child for 3 months.
