Campaigns
There are many ways to make an impact through Bali Children Foundation, from individuals purchasing English dictionaries or providing scholarships through sponsorships, joining an event or creating your own fundraiser. Donations and fundraising are our core income stream and together we can make a huge impact on children's lives.
EdTech For Change Program
Empower disadvantaged children through EdTech. Our program enhances literacy and numeracy skills, opening doors to endless possibilities. By introducing digital tools, we ignite changemakers who transform their lives and communities. Thrive in the digital age with us.
STEM Upgrades
Environmental Studies have been introduced into the curriculum over the recent years beginning with the islands of Nusa Lembongan. Here it has been vital to build awareness among the children, who will inherit this island, about the challenges they face. In other areas, especially ‘rain shadow’ districts with unreliable water supply, hygiene and health messages enter the curriculum.
Infant Welfare Project at Songan, Bali
Impacting the first 1000 days of a child's life, Kartika Soekarno Foundation and Bali Children Foundation work to prevent stunting, which is a direct result of malnutrition in a child's early life. In the Songan district, there is a high incidence of stunting, which affects children's health, learning ability and life expectancy.
Pink for Kids was created to raise awareness and funds for disadvantaged children in Bali. It was created by a group of guys in Bali who train hard while wearing black. Wearing pink is having a joke on ourselves for the advantage of these amazing kids.
Laksmi for Literacy - Puteri Indonesia
After speaking to Margaret about the children in Songan - I wanted to help in some way and then hearing how the pandemic was such a BIG threat in reversing the years of work done in literacy, I wanted to do something about it.
I believe in the importance of education, the importance of reading - especially for girls!
