Over the past two years, I’ve fallen in love with Bali and am now lucky enough to call it my second home. One of the most special things about Bali is its people. Indonesians are some of the kindest and most genuinely happy people you will ever meet. Even in the most challenging circumstances they are always smiling and helping freely.
That’s why I’ve decided to give back in a way that truly means something to me and can make a real difference by teaming up with the amazing Bali Children Foundation and Bali Hope team.
In May 2026, I’ll be running the Bali Hope Ultra Marathon, an 84km overnight ultramarathon from the top to the bottom of Bali, including a gruelling elevation of 1.4km. It will be one of the toughest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever taken on.
But I’m excited for what lies ahead and, more importantly, for the impact this fundraiser will make. The Bali Hope 2026 team is aiming to raise $150,000 to help fund education and opportunities for children in some of Bali’s most underprivileged communities. Just $50 funds a child for a full term of school.
