I am fundraising to improve education for children
in North Bali while helping flood-affected families recover

My Name is Harry Evans
On the 23rd of September I am going to embark on a 440 kilometer run around the island of Bali.
If all goes to plan it will take me 8 days, averaging 50-60 kilometers a day.
This isn’t a race, there is no prize. Just a personal challenge for a cause that is far greater than myself.
I have partnered with Bali Children Foundation to raise money for underprivileged youth of the island. They help provide access to education as well as community development. The cause creates real change not just for individuals but for families, schools and entire communities.

How you can help
Every donation, big or small, will go directly to Bali Children Foundation and the money will be used for improving the education of children in North Bali and to support families impacted by the recent floods
A bit about me
I’m 24 years old and was lucky enough to grow up in Thailand, Egypt, Vietnam and Australia. An upbringing that gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures, landscapes and people who live life in very different ways. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the times spent in rural communities through Southeast Asia, visiting schools and kicking a soccer ball around with kids from the villages. Though we came from completely different circumstances, we were all kids nonetheless and what mattered was having fun.
Earlier this year I made a promise to myself. To live wide open, lean into discomfort and to give more than I take. This run is part of that, combining my love for running with something incredibly meaningful to me. To make even a small difference to the lives of children who have far less opportunity than I had.
This isn't just a run, it’s a chance for us all to come together and make a significant impact on the lives of those far less fortunate. You can follow the journey on Instagram @harrrrryevans - I’ll be sharing regular updates, all the highs and lows, and moments from the road each day.
Thank you for reading, thank you for supporting. Lets make a difference.
