About our charity
In 2022, Ovolo Hotels began a long-term partnership with Bali Children Foundation (BCF) to renovate schools and support the children within them.
To date, BCF has helped more than 25,000 children complete their education, access employment and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
Through its programs, BCF focuses on delivering scholarships, Education Technology (EdTech) to strengthen literacy and numeracy, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Humanities (STEAM-H) and tertiary education opportunities. In addition, BCF channels funds to community initiatives supporting welfare, health and the environment and plays a role in providing assistance during and after disasters.
Our long-term goal is to expand this support to more schools each year. We aim to create scholarship pathways that open doors for children to achieve their aspirations.

Where does my money go to?
Every dollar raised goes toward empowering schools, children and youth through BCF programs
Donations?
We invite all participants to contribute, with a minimum donation of 5 dollars. Every dollar counts, whether it’s 5, 50 or 100. We encourage you to form a team with your colleagues and fundraise together under your hotel’s name and department. Please ensure your donations are made through your team and we will issue receipts for tax purposes.
How do I get the T-shirt?
This year, we’ve prepared T-shirts for all participants. Each T-shirt costs 5 dollars and the proceeds will also go to the charity (kept separate from your personal donation). Please ask your General Manager for your T-shirt and pay them directly. Once payment is received, the funds will be donated to your team’s fundraising page online.
Why did you choose to partner with Bali Children Foundation?
BCF is an award-winning charity in Bali. In previous years, our fundraising efforts have supported their mission to lift disadvantaged communities out of poverty through education-to-employment programs. Today, Bali Children Foundation continues this mission by supporting disadvantaged children and youth not only in Bali, but also beyond; extending their reach to Lombok, the Gilis, and most recently, Sumba.
