My Why ...
In 2026 I will be running 84km overnight across Bali in the Bali Hope Ultra to give children and youth in Gobleg the education and opportunities they deserve. Just $220 can fund a child’s education for a year, while $100 helps provide essential food and vitamins for three months. Every donation makes a lasting difference.
As a teacher, I understand how the access to quality education can transform a child’s future. I believe every child, regardless of where they live or what they have, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. My passion and drive for being a teacher was fuelled by wanting to provide the positive, enriching and meaningful experiences I had as a student. Education is empowerment, it builds confidence, fosters connection, builds dreams and passions, and equips those with the skills to participate meaningfully within their community and life.
And ... That’s why I’m running! To support the Bali Hope foundation, in delivering real and lasting change. Every contribution makes a meaningful impact on a child’s education and future, working to bring a smile to the faces of those.
