Join me as I run 42.2 kilometers around Mt. Batur in Bali to raise funds to feed families impacted by the pandemic

Remote communities in Bali are already suffering from significant poverty.

Many families survive on remittances from their employed children. The tourism that used to account for 80% of income in Bali has been decimated by the pandemic. Thousands have been out of work for over a year, without any social services safety net, and now remittances have stopped.

With new restrictions due to rising cases of COVID in Indonesia set in place, there is still no end in sight for many Balinese families. I've created this page to help provide remote communities in Bali with improved access to well-priced stapled food, education and more.

Since I'm running my first marathon in a week, I thought this will be a good way to raise awareness and make this run even more meaningful! Help me reach my goal of raising $1,000 to support Balinese families in need!
