In post covid Bali we have hundreds of Bali Children Foundation graduates underemployed or unemployed.
These recent graduates been held back - living way up in the mountains in challenging living conditions, lacking social skills due to isolation and lockdowns, their education was pretty much non-existent during Covid, their social economic situation worsened (if that's possible) and these students just need a leg up!
To provide pathways to employment, Bali Children Foundation is developing a Trade Apprenticeship Program.
BCF will employ and train a new Team Trade Educator to work with the students, as well as to develop ongoing relationships with the apprenticeship companies.
To get the students ready for the Trade Apprenticeship Program they will need to join a 6 week intensive course in South Bali which will include lessons, accomodation and food. The program will focus on self worth, self confidence, financial literacy, communication skills in English as well as Indonesian.
